"The first room we stayed in had mould on the walls and smelled a bit damp, But once we spoke to the hotel manager Omar he went out of his way to make us feel comfortable, He upgraded our rooms which was now flawless and right at the beach front for location and rooms this simply is one of the best hotels in The Gambia."

a beach escape with staff kindness

our room felt so near the ocean, the sound of the waves calmed us. the staffs friendliness stood out, especially in the restaurant. lamin always greeted us with a smile, that dress codes for themed nights adds a romantic touch. the food, oh, the food! it offered a wide array of choices and the breakfast buffet was amazing.
the beach needed more attention as i noticed some plastic and waste, there was only one waste container near the sunbeds. ashtrays seemed rare, many guests left cigarette butts on the beach. i hope management will address this soon.

the grounds were beautiful with the pool being kept very clean. i saw staff consistently tidy and maintain the area throughout the day, which ensured a pristine and relaxing atmosphere for all guests.

the hotel is located right on the beach, i could easily walk from my room to the shore. this access makes it simple to enjoy the ocean. the closeness to the sea was amazing.

the room was spacious with a comfortable bed that ensured restful nights. i also appreciated the daily cleaning service and those small extra touches that the cleaning staff do. they add a warmth to our experience.
